1. Question: Can a good Muslim be a good American?

This question was posed to a person who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.

2. The following is his reply:

Theologically – no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon god of Arabia.

Religiously – no. Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam. (Koran 2:256)

Scripturally – no. Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Koran.

Geographically – no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially – no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically – no. Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically – no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him. (Koran 4:34 )

Intellectually – no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically – no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Koran does not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually – no. Because when we declare ‘one nation under God,’ The Christian’s God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Koran’s 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation… Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both ‘good’ Muslims and ‘good’ Americans.

Some Muslims on TV say that they do not agree with many statements in the Koran.  They rightly point out that there are many teachings in the Bible (Old Testament) that modern Christians also do not believe (An Eye For An Eye -Leviticus 24:20 for example).  However, wouldn’t it be appropriate for Muslims to protest these offending portions of the Koran, much like Christians have protested portions of the Bible?

3. Discussion

I hate to make too much of the information offered above, because the source is not identified. But the analysis is unassailable. Or at least you’d be justified to think so in light of current events.

On the other hand, please remember we used to say much the same things about Catholics. In the late 1800’s the anti-Democrat campaign slogan was that they are the Party of the Three R’s: Rum, Rebellion and Romanism. In the 1960 election the Big First was that we finally elected a Catholic as President. I don’t think much of JFK as President, but at least he did NOT take orders from the Pope. Ideologically it was somebody else, but hey, at least it wasn’t the Pope… woo hoo…

Then there is this:

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Hollywood/2014/10/03/The-Crusades-EWTN-to-Separate-Myth-From-History-in-New-Docudrama

These days we could use some factual information, and I do hope some will be offered in this docudrama.

But i can’t help observing two omissions in the story about it. One is, they don’t mention the history of eastern and southeastern Europe having lived under the rule of, or imminent threat from, the Muslim Ottoman empire for six to twelve hundred years. The other is, Jefferson’s example of dealing with the problem of the Barbary Coast Pirates, which, then as now, Western Europe was eager to sweep under the rug and just live with.

Why these are relevant to the story of the Crusades is that, first of all, countries to the east of Vienna contributed heavily in manpower and supplies to the armies coming through on their way to the Holy Land, either voluntarily or under duress. Secondly, the excuse for the muslim assault on Europe and the destruction of the Byzantine empire was… revenge for the Crusades. Some countries, such as Hungary, had sent their own latter-day Crusades into the Balkans to counter the Turkish threat. Revenge for the Crusades, or for the loss of “muslim lands” such as Spain, is still being echoed in the current wave of islamic jihad.  And finally, while 0bama seems to be dithering for an answer, it is staring him in the face, from the history of the very country of which he is supposed to be president.

And why the Crusades are relevant to the question about good Muslims being good Americans is this. There will not be peace with islam until muslims change it, much as christians have changed christianity after centuries of reformation wars — the remnants of which still echo in Northern Ireland, and in our own elections where most recently it took the form of anti-mormon bias even in the ranks of Republicans. But the muslims have a bigger task; they will also have to change its name, too, because “islam” does not mean “peace,” it means “submission.” (Well, of COURSE there is peace if everyone submits… Duh…). “Peace” translates as “sala’am” (shalom in hebrew), not as “islam.”

Until such a miracle actually occurs, we will continue to have an increasingly more serious problem. We have been admitting millions of muslim immigrants. Many more among us are being converted at an accelerating pace. Saudi Arabia is financing and subsidizing imams, teachers, mosques, islamic schools and “islamic studies” in colleges and universities all over the country. Our highest founding virtue, religious tolerance, is being taken advantage of by a “religion” that does not tolerate of other religions. How far will they push their agenda in this country?

The answer to that question is evident from their actions in Europe.

The answer to that question is in the fact of “Americans” fighting for ISIS (ISIL); “American” recruits being instructed to track down and murder the families of American soldiers sent overseas, the Boston Marathon bombers; and the “workplace violence” in Fort Hood and in Oklahoma.

The answer to that question is also in the fact that there is not a peep of condemnation by the so-called “moderate” muslim community of the unspeakably brutal excesses of their “extremist” or “fundamentalist” cohorts, not by Middle Eastern muslims, not by Asian muslims, not by recently converted American muslims, and not by our Black Muslims. Imams are not preaching peace and tolerance, they are preaching jihad and the world wide caliphate.

PS
Quick, quick, somebody counter with examples of bombings, shootings, stabbings, lynchings and other violence by domestic Christians, Jews, atheists, the KKK, right wing militias, white supremacists… There should be many such news reports nowadays, because 0bama, Holder, Big Sis and her successor(s) have been assuring us that THOSE are the real threats to the American way of life today.
